LOW VISION EVALUATION
Low Vision Evaluation for Minnesota Patients
If your eyesight has degenerated to the extent that everyday tasks like reading labels or watching television have become almost impossible, it can have a significant impact on your quality of life. We understand how important it is to have the vision you need to do what’s important to you, which is why, when you visit our clinic, we start off by completing a thorough low vision assessment. Rather than being a simple eye test, the assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that covers every aspect of your vision and your needs.
Low Vision Specialist That Checks for Any Residual Vision
Our testing ensures that any remaining vision (including peripheral vision) is picked up. This information gives us what we need to work out if we can provide optical aids that might help. If we can offer a suitable option, we will create individualized eyewear with the goal of offering a tailored answer to your specific requirements. If you want to be able to drive, for example, we will come up with telescopic eyeglasses or a similar aid that may enable you to do so.
Vision Specialist That Lets You Try Before You Buy
We don’t just provide glasses and expect you to manage things on your own – we encourage you, if possible, to bring the task with you that you wish to complete and test our eyeglasses for their effectiveness before you buy them.
