Working With A Low Vision Rehab Specialist

Low Vision Restoration believes in “Life After Vision Loss.”. As part of The International Academy of Low Vision Specialists (IALVS), we bring new hope and sight to those with Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Stargardt’s Disease, Retinitis Pigmentosa, and other vision-limiting conditions. When your doctor says, “Sorry, Nothing More Can Be Done” we prove them wrong!

Our staff are trained professionals in providing low vision rehabilitation services customized to the needs of each of our patients. Through this personalized approach to the treatment of low vision, we are able to transform eyesight and bring opportunities to our patients not possible through traditional eye exams and treatment options.

Through the support of a low vision specialist, Dr. Chris Palmer, we can create the right support and low vision glasses to address the specific vision issues for each individual. Our low vision rehabilitation process also ensures the patient and the doctor work with the glasses before they are ordered, which means they will be fully tested and you will know what you are getting.

Our focus is on providing the low vision rehabilitation services required by our patients to allow them to have greater freedom and the ability to do what they want to do. Our expertise and experience can create visual solutions to improve the ability to complete daily activities many of our patients assumed they would never be able to do again.

Low Vision Restoration designs Customized Optical Systems. We are able to compact telescopes and microscopes to special glasses to enhance one’s vision. Other systems and devices include E-Scoop glasses (designed for Macular Degeneration) and Prismatic glasses. With these low vision devices, Dr. Palmer has a 98% success rate and is able to restore your Quality of Life!
